Twinings: Poems at Eighty
We’ll known landscape artist, Julie Fritz, grew up on a small farm in East Tennessee and a cabin in the middle of the Smoky Mountains. This set in motion her innate understanding of nature’s gifts. But it wasn’t until she was eighty, after an exciting life running special events across the country, that she reached back into her memories to write poetry about growing up in the fifties, surviving the challenges all women experienced at the end of the century, and then reflecting on life in tranquility today with a wisdom only aging can give us.
